 To date St. Francis Church has raised about $6000 - we have been participating in the Famine for 5 years now.

    Plan on arriving on Saturday morning hungry, and going home Sunday afternoon full - not only of food, but especially of a desire to serve your world.  "We were made for so much more than this" as the song says.  The Famine is a chance to realize that we are not alone.  We are one body in Christ and we must love as He did.  He gave His life for us.  Are we willing to do that for the body of Christ?  Here are some events you can expect:

• Collection of Mission Money After Masses - Look for the tubes of M&Ms!
• The Annual Scavenger Hunt - Let your friends and family know you'll be coming to ask for stuff!  Benefits local foodbanks and shelters.

• Fasting for 30 Hours
• Feast following the Famine
