Summary
CatechiCYM is a junior high youth ministry that seeks to prepare students for Confirmation when they reach the 9th grade as well as give students an opportunity to build community with their peers in a faith-filled environment. Each meeting includes prayer, sharing, chances to grow in faith and knowledge, and of course lots of fun. If you are a student in 6-8th grade come check us out.
Buzz
Typically we meet on Sunday nights from 6:30-8:00PM in the Gathering space. Occassionally we will hold events with the High School CYM, and often we will trek out to the parking lot to do something wild and crazy. The group is coordinated by a few dedicated adults who want to help others get closer to God - in particular these middle-schoolers. Jyl, Glen, Katie, and Claire will be there each week trying to get our students excited and involved with God.
